How to adjust the straightness of a two-piece billiard cue?

Two-Piece Cue Concentricity Calibration (Joint Realignment)

1. Dynamic Run-out Test

Place the full cue on a Cue Roller and rotate it.

Check for concentricity deviations by observing the run-out at the far end.

2. Locating the Gap

Set a reference point at the cue tip.

Rotate the cue to identify the lowest point of its swing, known as the Bottom Dead Center (BDC).

3. Reference Indexing

Vertically align this lowest point with the middle wheel plane and mark it precisely using label tape.

4. Precision Facing

Using fine-grit sandpaper,Lightly sand half of the mid-wheel end face on the marked side

5. Iterative Verification

Re-spin the cue to verify:

·If the run-out reverses: the cue is over-corrected. Adjust the opposite side slightly.

·If the run-out persists: continue gradual sanding.

Repeat until the far-end travel achieves zero run-out
